- Master data: these include e.g. first name, surname, address (private and/or work), date of birth.
-Contact details: this includes, for example, the telephone number, the e-mail address (private and/or business), the fax number if applicable, the content of the communications (such as e-mails, letters, faxes).
-Contractual data: this includes, for example, information about the rental (vehicle category, date of pick-up and delivery, pick-up and delivery station, contracted extras/services), number of the rental contract, reservation number, driver`s license data, photo of the driver`s license, registration number of the vehicle you have rented and information about customer and partner loyalty programmes.
- Financial information, such as credit card details
- Voluntary information : this includes data that you provide to us voluntarily without our expressly asking for it, such as wishes regarding vehicle equipment or indication of preferred vehicle category.
-Special categories of data: in the event of an accident, damage to the vehicle or similar incident, we process the information regarding what happened and the damage caused. These data may be provided by customers, passengers or injured parties. In these cases, health-related data may also be processed, such as information on injuries, blood alcohol concentration, driving under the influence of drugs or similar.
-Third-party data: If you provide us with personal data of third parties (e.g. family members, a second driver, passengers) in the context of your contractual relationship, we will also process these data.
-Location data: location data are data that we can process when location is enabled on our website and/or a vehicle is equipped with remote tracking telematic systems.
C: Legal foundations of data processing in AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL.
Article 6(1). 1, first sentence letter a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPS): according to this provision, the processing of personal data is allowed when you have given your consent to do so.
Article 6, paragraph 1, first sentence, letter b) of the GPRS: in accordance with this provision, processing of personal data is lawful if it is necessary for the execution of a contract to which you are a party, or for the purpose of taking the necessary steps upon your request for rental prior to the conclusion of a contract (e.g. for the reservation of a vehicle).
Article 6, paragraph 1, first sentence, letter c) of the RGPD: according to this provision, the processing of data is lawful when it is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation of AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL.
Article 6(1), first sentence, letter f) of the RGPD: according to this provision, the processing of personal data is lawful when it is necessary for the satisfaction of legitimate interests pursued by the controller, i.e. AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL, or a third party, provided that such interests are not overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms of the data subjects, i.e. theirs.

D: Purpose of the treatment in AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL.
Reservation of vehicle rental.
Purposes of treatment
We process your master data, contact data, contract data, financial data and any other voluntary information for the reservation, conclusion and execution of the rental contract.
We also use the master data, contact data and contractual data for customer service in the event that you, as a customer, contact us, e.g. in case of complaints, lost property procedure, change of reservation or similar.
If you book your vehicle through a travel agency, an online travel agency or other intermediaries, our partners will transfer your master data, contact data, rental information and, if applicable, financial data to us.
We also use your master data and contract data for the calculation of provisions and for commercial management (e.g. with travel agencies, agency/franchise partners/collaborators). In addition, we transfer your data to partner companies if we do not have the vehicle or type of vehicle you require.
On the other hand, we are obliged by law to provide certain data to the Security Forces and Bodies, as well as to Judicial Authorities with the aim of preventing or clarifying criminal acts. And this is in order to guarantee security and to be able to make effective the application of state laws.
We also use your data for your and our security, e.g. to prevent payment defaults and for the prevention of property crimes
in particular, fraud, theft and embezzlement
In our offices we use a technology that verifies the authenticity of identification documents (especially the driver`s license) and records the data electronically rather than manually.
If you wish to pay your rent by means of a monthly invoice, we process your master and financial data to check your solvency by consulting information we obtain from credit agencies.
After the mutual fulfilment of the rental agreement, your master, financial and contractual data remain stored until the legal retention periods have expired.

Our legitimate interest in using your personal data to improve our performance and customer service is to provide you with the best possible services and to durably increase customer satisfaction.
With regard to the processing of data for the purpose of avoiding damage to our company or our vehicles by means of appropriate analyses, our legitimate interest is to ensure the security of costs and to avoid economic disadvantages caused, for example, by non-payment or loss of our vehicles.
Categories of recipients of your data
In addition to the above-mentioned purposes (especially to inform cooperation partners about a reservation or to process credit card payments with your credit card company), we disclose your data to the following recipients: IT service providers, call centres, collection agencies, financial service providers, credit agencies, group companies, cooperation partners or cooperation agencies.
As part of our measures to prevent fraud, we also transmit, in situations where third parties have been, or are at risk of being, defrauded, personal data to such third parties who have been, or are at risk of being, defrauded.
Marketing and direct marketing.
Purposes of treatment.
We process your master data, contact data and contractual data for the implementation of loyalty and bonus programmes (including our own programmes and those of our cooperation partners), the optimisation of customer offers, market or public opinion research, as well as for the realisation of customer events (see → Events and donations).

Corporate Clients / Payments made by third parties
If you rent a vehicle through your employer, we also process your data for the purposes described in this Data Privacy Policy. This also applies mutatis mutandis if a third party has to pay the bill.

We pass on the personal data collected during the rental period (in particular in the form of invoices and rental contracts, possibly also in the form of monthly statements, as well as possible traffic fines and accident reports) to your employer or to the third party who is to pay your bill.
We work with service providers to enable corporate clients to enter into electronic framework contracts. If you wish, we can forward your name and e-mail address to our
services for this purpose (in particular, DocuSign). The service provider sends you a personal link so that you can sign the contract electronically.

With regard to the processing of data for the purpose of settling the account with your employer or third parties or to clarify facts (in particular in the case of accidents or infringements) our legitimate interest is to be able to claim the amounts of invoices and other claims or to determine the party against whom damages are claimed.
Damages, accidents, offences
Purposes of treatment
In cases when you detect damage to our vehicles, or if you or a third party cause damage to them, or traffic and road regulations are violated during vehicle rental, or you or a third party are involved in an accident with one of our vehicles, we process your master data, contact data, contractual data, financial data and, if applicable, health-related data for the following purposes:
- Reception and examination of complaints,
- Customer service in the event of a claim,
- Processing of damages and;
-Processing of claims (processing on the basis of your information and information from third parties, such as the police, the next tenant, witnesses, etc.)
This also includes the processing of the above-mentioned data categories for the purpose of settlement of damages, e.g. against insurance companies and brokers.
In relation to claims and accidents, we process your master, contact and contractual data also for the purpose of providing assistance through AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL`s road assistance services and mobility guarantee
We also process your master data, contact data and contractual data in order to fulfil legal obligations (e.g. notifications to investigative bodies, identification of drivers, for traffic offences).
In the event that the competent authorities suspect that you have committed an offence or a crime with one of our vehicles, we process, in addition to your stored master data, the data provided to us by the competent authorities.
We also process your master data, contact data, financial data, contractual data and, if applicable, health-related data for the purpose of insuring and enforcing our own claims against you, e.g. in the event of non-payment or damage to our vehicles.

Furthermore, on the basis of contractual relations with third parties (e.g. insurance companies) we are obliged to process your data for the purpose of damage settlement. Our legitimate interest in this respect is to ensure the fulfilment of contracts.

In addition to the above-mentioned purposes, we disclose your data to the following recipients: Authorities (investigative bodies; regulatory bodies; law enforcement agencies, government
public), collection agencies, experts, assistance providers, lawyers and solicitors, insurance brokers and insurance companies.
Connected vehicles. Remote location systems.
Purposes of treatment
AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL vehicles can be equipped with the so-called "connected vehicle" functions that allow us to process location data as well as information about the vehicle`s status, remote location systems such as the expiry date for the next service, the vehicle`s lock, its speed, the status of sensors or the activation of safety systems (e.g. airbags). These data are processed solely for the purpose of managing the rental process when using our website (e.g. online validation, authentication, reservation and rental via the Auto Excellence Mobility website), preventing property offences if the vehicle is not returned within the contractually agreed upon period or if it is used outside the contractually agreed upon geographic area (as well as in border or port areas), for the maintenance and care of our fleet, as well as for establishing, verifying and investigating vehicle damage or accidents. AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL collects this data itself or receives it from the respective vehicle manufacturer or from third party suppliers linked to insurance companies.

For certain markets and vehicle categories, we can work with external geolocation service providers to prevent property crime. In order to improve the quality of the offer and services to our customers we process their master and contract data on the basis of an algorithm, also in order to create profiles and probability values on future rentals and the use of our offers.
We also process your master data, contact data and contractual data within the framework of our collaboration with our franchisees, cooperation partners and collaborating agencies, as well as for the purpose of optimising processes and related offers (see → Reservation and rental of vehicles).
In addition, we process address data from external service providers for the purpose of updating our address lists, as well as to ensure the accuracy of the master data to ensure that our contract management is correct.

F: Duration of storage / criteria for the duration of storage

-Contractual data: this includes, for example, information about the rental (vehicle category, date of pick-up and delivery, pick-up and delivery station, contracted extras/services), number of the rental contract, reservation number, driver`s license data, photo of the driver`s license, registration number of the vehicle you have rented and information about customer and partner loyalty programmes.
- Financial information, such as credit card details
- Voluntary information : this includes data that you provide to us voluntarily without our expressly asking for it, such as wishes regarding vehicle equipment or indication of preferred vehicle category.
-Special categories of data: in the event of an accident, damage to the vehicle or similar incident, we process the information regarding what happened and the damage caused. These data may be provided by customers, passengers or injured parties. In these cases, health-related data may also be processed, such as information on injuries, blood alcohol concentration, driving under the influence of drugs or similar.
-Third-party data: If you provide us with personal data of third parties (e.g. family members, a second driver, passengers) in the context of your contractual relationship, we will also process these data.
-Location data: location data are data that we can process when location is enabled on our website and/or a vehicle is equipped with remote tracking telematic systems.
C: Legal foundations of data processing in AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL.
Article 6(1). 1, first sentence letter a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPS): according to this provision, the processing of personal data is allowed when you have given your consent to do so.
Article 6, paragraph 1, first sentence, letter b) of the GPRS: in accordance with this provision, processing of personal data is lawful if it is necessary for the execution of a contract to which you are a party, or for the purpose of taking the necessary steps upon your request for rental prior to the conclusion of a contract (e.g. for the reservation of a vehicle).
Article 6, paragraph 1, first sentence, letter c) of the RGPD: according to this provision, the processing of data is lawful when it is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation of AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL.
Article 6(1), first sentence, letter f) of the RGPD: according to this provision, the processing of personal data is lawful when it is necessary for the satisfaction of legitimate interests pursued by the controller, i.e. AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL, or a third party, provided that such interests are not overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms of the data subjects, i.e. theirs.

Reservation of vehicle rental.
Purposes of treatment
We process your master data, contact data, contract data, financial data and any other voluntary information for the reservation, conclusion and execution of the rental contract.
We also use the master data, contact data and contractual data for customer service in the event that you, as a customer, contact us, e.g. in case of complaints, lost property procedure, change of reservation or similar.
If you book your vehicle through a travel agency, an online travel agency or other intermediaries, our partners will transfer your master data, contact data, rental information and, if applicable, financial data to us.
We also use your master data and contract data for the calculation of provisions and for commercial management (e.g. with travel agencies, agency/franchise partners/collaborators). In addition, we transfer your data to partner companies if we do not have the vehicle or type of vehicle you require.
On the other hand, we are obliged by law to provide certain data to the Security Forces and Bodies, as well as to Judicial Authorities with the aim of preventing or clarifying criminal acts. And this is in order to guarantee security and to be able to make effective the application of state laws.
We also use your data for your and our security, e.g. to prevent payment defaults and for the prevention of property crimes
in particular, fraud, theft and embezzlement
In our offices we use a technology that verifies the authenticity of identification documents (especially the driver`s license) and records the data electronically rather than manually.
If you wish to pay your rent by means of a monthly invoice, we process your master and financial data to check your solvency by consulting information we obtain from credit agencies.
After the mutual fulfilment of the rental agreement, your master, financial and contractual data remain stored until the legal retention periods have expired.

services for this purpose (in particular, DocuSign). The service provider sends you a personal link so that you can sign the contract electronically.

In cases when you detect damage to our vehicles, or if you or a third party cause damage to them, or traffic and road regulations are violated during vehicle rental, or you or a third party are involved in an accident with one of our vehicles, we process your master data, contact data, contractual data, financial data and, if applicable, health-related data for the following purposes:
- Reception and examination of complaints,
- Customer service in the event of a claim,
- Processing of damages and;
-Processing of claims (processing on the basis of your information and information from third parties, such as the police, the next tenant, witnesses, etc.)
This also includes the processing of the above-mentioned data categories for the purpose of settlement of damages, e.g. against insurance companies and brokers.
In relation to claims and accidents, we process your master, contact and contractual data also for the purpose of providing assistance through AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL`s road assistance services and mobility guarantee
We also process your master data, contact data and contractual data in order to fulfil legal obligations (e.g. notifications to investigative bodies, identification of drivers, for traffic offences).
In the event that the competent authorities suspect that you have committed an offence or a crime with one of our vehicles, we process, in addition to your stored master data, the data provided to us by the competent authorities.
We also process your master data, contact data, financial data, contractual data and, if applicable, health-related data for the purpose of insuring and enforcing our own claims against you, e.g. in the event of non-payment or damage to our vehicles.

Connected vehicles. Remote location systems.
Purposes of treatment
AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL vehicles can be equipped with the so-called "connected vehicle" functions that allow us to process location data as well as information about the vehicle`s status, remote location systems such as the expiry date for the next service, the vehicle`s lock, its speed, the status of sensors or the activation of safety systems (e.g. airbags). These data are processed solely for the purpose of managing the rental process when using our website (e.g. online validation, authentication, reservation and rental via the Auto Excellence Mobility website), preventing property offences if the vehicle is not returned within the contractually agreed upon period or if it is used outside the contractually agreed upon geographic area (as well as in border or port areas), for the maintenance and care of our fleet, as well as for establishing, verifying and investigating vehicle damage or accidents. AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL collects this data itself or receives it from the respective vehicle manufacturer or from third party suppliers linked to insurance companies.

We also process your master data, contact data and contractual data within the framework of our collaboration with our franchisees, cooperation partners and collaborating agencies, as well as for the purpose of optimising processes and related offers (see → Reservation and rental of vehicles).
In addition, we process address data from external service providers for the purpose of updating our address lists, as well as to ensure the accuracy of the master data to ensure that our contract management is correct.

F: Duration of storage / criteria for the duration of storage
AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL stores your personal data until the purpose justifying the processing disappears. When it is obliged by law to store personal data, this storage is done for the time legally required. In the case of commercial documentation, which includes commercial books and accounting documents (such as invoices), the storage period is 6 years (Art. 30 of the Commercial Code). If the processing of your data by AUTO EXCELLENCE CAR RENTAL is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, or based on the exercise of public authority over the Controller - art. 6, paragraph 1, first sentence, letter e) of the RGPD -, or the processing of data is based on a legitimate interest, you have the right to object to the processing at any time, on the basis of your particular situation.
